"Through different forms of exercise, I was able to achieve my success story. For many years, I struggled with weight loss issues and self-esteem. By having access to a great facility, group exercise classes and encouraging friends, I have continued to maintain a healthy weight and improve my self-confidence! Even though some days are tough to make it to the rec center or to a class, I know that each workout will improve both my mental and physical health and well-being.
I participate in Campus Recreation group exercise classes to stay in shape and help with stress relief. A workout is a great way to relieve stress and the group exercise classes are fun, affordable, and challenging. The staff makes every workout fun and they encourage you to reach your goals and push yourself! Each workout I do makes me feel better both mentally and physically.
I frequently use both the group exercise and rec center each week. I've gotten to know several of the instructors and many of the students and faculty/staff who attend the classes. These relationships have continued to build over the last several years. We hold each other accountable and encourage one another to reach our fitness goals with the added bonus of having a great friendship."
