Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of
achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I focus on finding balance in my life. Setting work/life
boundaries has been very helpful, as well as being aware of how I'm
doing in each of the eight dimensions of wellness.
What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling
stressed or overwhelmed?
Exercise, art, and sleep are my favorite ways to reduce stress.
Prioritizing self care takes time, but in the long run it makes me
feel so much better and it allows me to be even more productive. Going
for a run, painting, and taking a nap are great ways for me to clear
my mind!
What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
I'm motivated to be well and stay healthy because I know that my
choices today will have an impact on my health and wellbeing later on.
I like to think of it as investing in my future self.
