Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of
achieving full potential. How do you actively pursue your wellness?
I find that in order to be the best version of myself I need to
make a conscious effort to do things out of my comfort zone and
surround myself with people who support me. I also try to eat as well
as possible and make sure I maintain a healthy work-life balance.
What do you do to take care of yourself when you are feeling
stressed or overwhelmed?
I like to take a break from social media, go for walks, or change
up my environment. Even if I have a lot of work to do, I will set time
aside to do things I enjoy like watching a Netflix show or cooking
with my roommates. I also like to think about what is stressing me out
and I evaluate how important it is to my life short-term and
long-term. If it won't matter in a few years or doesn't contribute to
a goal I have, it probably isn't worth the extra energy.
What motivates you to be well and stay healthy?
The potential to live a long and fulfilling life.
