If the injured person is on-campus, GVSU's Public Safety (616) 331-3255 and Downtown Campus Security  (616) 331-6677 are available to provide support, 24/7.

There are a number of hospitals, clinics, and health centers in the vicinity of both the Allendale and Downtown campuses. Trinity Health operates a clinic located on Allendale's campus.  You can find information including hours, services provided, insurance requirements, and more on the Health Center's website located here. Please be aware that the University's insurance programs do not cover injury or illness sustained by students, visitors, or volunteers even if the injury or illness is a result of an educational opportunity, a sponsored activity, or another event, whether on or off campus. The injured party should submit related medical bills to his/her/their own insurance company for coverage. Faculty and staff can not promise that bills will be paid by the University.
