A CASE ASAP organization that develops membership with strong internal programs, and enhances the field of advancement through reputable external programs, effective engagement with university constituents, prosperous philanthropic efforts, and/or notable outreach to prospective students. To be considered emerging, an organization must operate as a new organization with new bylaws created within the past three academic years.

Given to an organization that has excelled in the area of co-sponsorship with diverse number of student organizations and departments. The recipient of this award should have programmed more than one event with other organizations throughout the year.

2015-2016 Outstanding Student Advancement Program Award

Received from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s Affiliated Student Advancement Programs (CASE ASAP) District 5

Facilitated by a student advancement organization, these external programs involve students, alumni, prospective students and/or community members through education and awareness of engagement and philanthropic efforts. Examples may include homecoming events, alumni-student networking events, CASE's Student Engagement & Philanthropy Month programs, student campaigns and fundraising programs, or prospective student recruitment.

2015-2016 Art Hills Spirit Award

Received from the Grand Valley State University Office of Student Life

Presented to an organization that has demonstrated outstanding school spirit. This award is named in honor of Art Hills who exemplified the enthusiasm for campus life at Grand Valley. Art retired in 1988 as Executive Assistant to the President. He wrote the Grand Valley Alma Mater and was always active in promoting a positive spirit at Grand Valley. Organizations should have demonstrated school spirit at campus events and participation in campus life activities.
