AACSB Accreditation
You will soon be making one of the most important choices of your life as you select the college or university from which to earn a degree. If you are considering a career in business, the first criterion to use in narrowing the field should be accreditation by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Fewer than 711 institutions around the world have achieved this recognition for assuring quality and continuous improvement in their programs, faculty, and resources. The Seidman College of Business is one of those institutions. Additionally, the Seidman College is one of only 180 institutions that have received separate accounting accreditation.
Having voluntarily pursued, earned, and maintained AACSB International accreditation, the Seidman College has demonstrated a distinguished level of performance. Here are a few ways that accreditation affects the quality of a business school's education:
- We carefully plan and rigorously monitor our curriculum to make sure that business students receive an education true to our mission - current, relevant, and always improving.
- We recruit our professors from among the top academic talent. They continuously develop their teaching prowess; enrich the field of management knowledge and instruction; and impact our students, school, and community in positive ways.
- Our facilities and the learning resources they house are designed to fulfill the objectives of our courses and programs. We regularly evaluate them to ensure that they are accessible, up-to-date and effectively utilized.
- We make consistent efforts to achieve demographic diversity in our student body.
As you consider your educational options, make your choice easier by relying on the assurance of quality that comes with AACSB International accreditation.
