What is your favorite Seidman memory?

My favorite memory at Seidman was returning to inperson classes. Throughout COVID, it was difficult to meet new people and connect with professors virtually. Once Seidman opened back up, I was able to join clubs and make new friendships.

Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many desirable traits of a leader such as innovator, integrity, curiosity and futureminded. How did your experience at Seidman help you develop one or more of these traits?:

Seidman has offered me many new opportunities and experiences each semester. While working in class and engaging with clubs, I have learned to always strive to know more. I think it is extremely important to question concepts and be curious.

What would you like people in the community to know about Seidman graduates like you?

Throughout my time at Seidman, I have always noticed how persevering, determined, and understanding my classmates are. We are consistently striving to improve and give our all in the work we complete.

What is your career aspiration?

After college, I plan on pursuing my CPA certification and working as a tax accountant.

How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?

Seidman heavily contributes to the Grand Rapids community. Many of its clubs mirror these actions and help reach out to the surrounding area. Having completed many projects with Grand Rapids organizations, I hope to continue this in my future.
