Excellence in a Discipline | Economics
What is your favorite Seidman memory?
My favorite Seidman memory has been developing meaningful
relationships with my professors. I have always had excellent
professors at Seidman who have helped me learn both academic and
professional skills.
Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many
desirable traits of a leader such as innovator, integrity, curiosity
and future-minded. How did your experience at Seidman help you
develop one or more of these traits?
My favorite Seidman memory has been developing meaningful
relationships with my professors. I have always had excellent
professors at Seidman who have helped me learn both academic and
professional skills.
What would you like people in the community to know about
Seidman graduates like you?
I would like people in the community to know that Seidman
graduates have received excellent schooling from phenomenal
professors. My peers are extremely hardworking students who are
genuinely curious and passionate about their studies.
What is your career aspiration?
My career aspiration is to work in the field of Business
Intelligence. I find data analytics fascinating, and I hope my degrees
in Economics and Statistics will allow me to find meaningful insight
into raw data. Eventually, I would like to teach economics and coach
track and field.
How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute
to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?
My time at Seidman College prepared me to contribute to my
community as a Laker for a Lifetime by teaching me how to build
relationships with people. By participating in clubs like the
Economics club and the Siedman IPO, I developed interpersonal
communication skills and learned about the Grand Rapids area, setting
me up to be a Laker for a Lifetime.
