Favorite Seidman Memory:
My favorite memory at Seidman was through Women in Business when I planned the Meet the Majors event. I am the Vice President of Women in Business and a goal of ours was to welcome more Freshmen and Sophomores to the club. We created a round table event of multiple Senior or Junior women in Seidman to introduce different major routes that they can explore. Many of us reminisced on our early years at Grand Valley. We realized that we had all gone into Seidman as a Business General major because we did not know all the opportunities that Seidman offered. This event introduced women to different majors and possibilities at the business college while also giving them a networking opportunity to connect with those who have spent multiple years navigating through the college. We held this event in Allendale since that is where most Freshmen and Sophomores live, and it was an amazing turnout! Seeing so many women passionate about joining the business world was amazing. It has been such a blessing to be connected with so many motivated women and empowering them to have a strong presence in the business world.
