What is your favorite Seidman memory?

I do not have one specific memory that sticks out to me as my favorite Seidman memory. However, all my favorite memories occurred in the same place; the Center for Entrepreneurship in Seidman. When I reminisce on my time at Seidman, my favorite moments and memories transpired through the CEI. I am forever grateful for the people there who helped create my favorite memories and made my time at Seidman so impactful!

Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many desirable traits of a leader, such as an innovator, integrity, curiosity, and future-minded. How did your experience at Seidman help you develop one or more of these traits?

My experience at Seidman helped me develop many of the leadership traits found in Bill Seidman; innovation, integrity, curiosity, and future-mindedness. The catalyst for integrity and future-mindedness was being on the advisory board for the Seidman Mentorship Program and beginning the Lakers Love initiative. The catalysts for innovation and curiosity include being a member of the CEO club and getting accepted into the 77 Idea Lab, where I formed my own business. The incredible support and push from professors elevated me to become the well-rounded leader I am today.

What would you like people in the community to know about Seidman graduates like you?

What I would like people in the community to know about Seidman graduates like me is that the class of 2023 is a class of resilience, filled with grit, and ready to continue to learn and grow. Graduates like myself are prepared to reach higher and challenge the norms to create better workplaces and a better world. We care about more than simply completing the job; we care about making a difference through what we do.

What is your career aspiration?

My career aspiration is to help people create lifelong moments and memories through my business, Grand and Wells Events, and for it to become an international event planning company. I’m someone who cherishes the moments and memories of life, and I want to help people create those of their own all over the world.

How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?

My time at Seidman College helped prepare me to contribute to my community as a Laker for a Lifetime. Through Seidman College, I learned workforce skills as well as interpersonal skills. At Seidman, they didn’t just prepare me to find a job; they prepared me to be a better leader, and a better person, so that I can contribute to my community in the most impactful and meaningful ways possible.
