What is your favorite Seidman memory?

My favorite Seidman memory has been getting to know my professors and being able to learn from their real life experiences. My professors have provided me with a wealth of valuable knowledge that I can directly use in my day to day work.

Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many desirable traits of a leader such as innovator, integrity, curiosity and futureminded. How did your experience at Seidman help you develop one or more of these traits?

I have also seen these traits in both Seidman faculty and fellow students, which has inspired me to continue my journey of lifetime learning, of always staying curious. The MST program has exposed me to previously unknown concepts that I plan to explore in the future and if not in depth, I at least walk away with a broader knowledge base that will serve me well in the future.

What would you like people in the community to know about Seidman graduates like you?

I would like the community to know that Seidman graduates have received some of the best education and experiences from some of the best instructors around. We have been challenged, enriched, and inspired by our time at Seidman.

What is your career aspiration?

I will continue to grow in my current career path and adding "MST" to my experience and credentials will certainly boost my success in doing so. As a tax practitioner, my goal is to become a source of guidance for future clients who are facing tax issues. This degree will show both potential employers and potential clients that I have achieved a certain level of professionalism in my field.

How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?

I hope to expand my exposure to the community as a trusted resource for tax resolution matters. This is really where the practical knowledge passed on by Seidman instructors will have an impact on our community as I use what I have learned to assist clients in traditional client and pro bono settings.
