Professional Journey Quick Facts:
- After graduating from Seidman, I spent several years in Grand Rapids in private equity investment roles.
- After completing graduate coursework in 2018 at the University of Michigan, I joined the Mergers & Acquisition team at General Motors in Detroit.
How has Seidman had a role in your journey?
In addition to providing a great business foundation through its coursework, Seidman and the alumni community have continued to provide opportunities to learn and grow post-graduation.

Where are you from?
Originally from Metro-Detroit area. Lived in Grand Rapids for about 10 years before moving back to Royal Oak, where I currently live.
What do you do for fun?
Golf, travel and mountain bike. Anything to get outdoors and stay active!

What would you say has been the most significant professional outcome that came as a result of your GVSU degree from Seidman College?
Internships and job interviews attained through the career center helped me navigate and find my passions in business. I credit these opportunities with giving me an early-career foundation that has led me to where I am today!
If you could learn one new professional skill, what would it be and why?
Skills in other languages would help me when working with business partners around the globe
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
In business meetings always have 1 question and 1 comment ready to be shared with the group. Even if you don't use them, it helps your mind think critically about the topic.
If you could pick any job, what would it be?
I'd like own my own winery
