Macroeconomics
Introduction to the study of the national and global economies. Topics include types of economic systems used around the world, the determinants of economic growth; factors that create recessions, unemployment, and inflation; international trade and global economic factors; and policies that can be used to influence economic conditions.
Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply
A framework that helps explain how different factors influence overall economic activity, price levels, and output in the economy. By understanding these concepts, students can better analyze economic fluctuations, policy impacts, and the overall health of the economy.
Information Literacy
In Principles of Economics students will learn tools to identify the need for information; access, evaluate, and use information effectively, ethically, and legally.
