Thank you for taking an interest in Athletic & Recreation, Facilities and Event Operations. Our office is located on the Grand Valley State University Allendale campus within the Raleigh J. Finkelstein Athletic Village. We strive to maintain quality spaces and operate exceptional events while developing an environment that cultivates the champion spirit in all students.
Department Mission
The Grand Valley State University Department of Athletic and Recreation Facilities Management strives to provide the campus and surrounding communities with quality facilities and experiences that promote a healthy lifestyle through academics, competitive athletics, fitness, and recreation.
We Manage the Facilities & Events Within:
- Raleigh J. Finkelstein Athletic Village (Arena, Harris Sports Complex, Classrooms, Pool, Climbing Center)
- Recreation Center
- Outdoor Athletics and Recreational Fields, Courts & Stadiums
- Outdoor Tennis, Basketball, and Sand Volleyball Courts
- Kelly Family Sports Center (Indoor Turf & Track)
