The GVSU Statistics Department hosts several events throughout the Academic year. Math In Action

Math in Action presents lively and informative discussions of current issues in mathematics education while providing an opportunity for practicing PreK – 12 teachers, prospective teachers, curriculum directors, and college and university faculty to share ideas, concerns, and resources.  Find out more here: Math in Action.

Michigan Statistics Poster Competition

The NCTM Standards for Curriculum and Evaluation in School Mathematics presents the vision that problem-solving is a primary goal of mathematics instruction. The Standards recommend student involvement in statistical activities at all grade levels. Find out more.
