Nominations are open throughout the semester, allowing students to be recognized in real-time for their outstanding contributions. At the end of each month, nominated students will receive an email notifying them of their nomination, along with an electronic certificate featuring a detailed description of why they were nominated and who nominated them. To ensure the recognition is meaningful, nominators are encouraged to provide a thoughtful and detailed explanation of why they are nominating the student. Please note that the nomination you provide will appear on the certificate exactly as you write it. 

All nominees will also be invited to the End of the Year I Am Grand Valley Reception on April 14, where we will come together to honor and celebrate the impact of these exceptional student leaders. This nomination process is open to everyone in the Grand Valley community—join us in recognizing the Lakers who inspire us all! Nominations are accepted through April 1.
