SAIL: Identifying Your Values

Identifying Your Values

Monday, February 19
4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Kirkhof Center 2215/2216

For the first session of the Students Aspiring into Leadership (SAIL) series, we will dive in, reflect, and discover the content and strength of your system of values. Through interactive activities, thoughtful discussions, and reflective exercises, students will gain valuable insights into the core principles guiding their decisions and actions. Everything we do or say, like how we spend our money and time, provides clues to what we value. What gets you riled up enough to take a stand or jump to action? What do you fantasize or daydream about? When do you feel most energized in your life? Answering these and other similar questions can clarify how you have acquired your values rather than determining what they should be. As leaders, the more we understand our values, the more we can make satisfactory choices and take appropriate action.

Facilitated by Peter C. Cook Leadership Academy Program Coordinator, Em McKenna-Makela '18, the workshop provides a space for curiosity and self-exploration in the pursuit of leadership development. Join us for an enriching experience, equipping students to navigate life authentically and with a deep understanding of their values.

Thank you for your interest in Students Aspiring in Leadership (SAIL). Unfortunately, the registration for this session has ended, but please be sure to check out all other sessions on ourĀ Leadership Development website.
