Kiana Baker is a senior at Grand Valley majoring in graphic design and a member of the Asian Student Union (ASU). Soon after she became involved with ASU, she joined Delta Phi Lambda because an ASU member reached out, saying the sorority would be a perfect fit. This proved true for Kiana through many years of being a member and holding multiple e-board positions.
When searching for an org perfect for her, Kiana was on the lookout for something that would tune her leadership skills. Delta Phi Lambda promotes strong leadership skills with its variety of e-board roles, of which she has taken advantage. Being a part of this sorority is “Helping me within my own career goals,” says Kiana.
