Katelyn Belcher is a senior studying nursing. She currently serves as the president and captain of the Equestrian Club, a club sport here on campus.
The Equestrian Club provides students a chance to ride horses and compete at the collegiate level against other universities. When choosing a college, Katelyn knew she wanted to attend one that offered an Equestrian team. She felt that Grand Valley’s club was the perfect fit for her and sought them out first at Campus Life Night during her first semester.
“Being involved in the Equestrian Club has drastically benefitted my experience at college. It has given me a group of lifelong friends and immersed me in an equestrian community spanning from Grand Valley's teams to competitor teams, trainers, judges, and more,” she says.
