Nicole Andriot is a junior with a major in biomedical sciences for
pre-med and a minor in math. She is a member of Alpha
Sigma Tau, the secretary of the Panhellenic
Association, and the vice president of ChemoCare.
ChemoCare is a club that educates students about different
cancers affecting children, as well as making and delivering
chemotherapy bags that hang over IV bags of the patients. Nicole has
been involved with ChemoCare since learning about the organization at
Campus Life Night her first year at GV. Nicole talks about what made
her join, stating, “I felt like I connected with the club and the
goals of what it was striving towards.”
The experience of being involved with ChemoCare has given Nicole
many opportunities and has helped her grow as a leader. She says that
the ChemoCare events, meetings, and social gatherings have turned out
to be some of the most memorable and defining moments of her college
journey. Taking part in ChemoCare has taught Nicole “how to
professionally run and set up events and how to give presentations to
varying audiences” in a field that is related to her major.
