French Abroad
As a French major or minor, it is essential to experience francophone culture first-hand to fully understand the language. Studying abroad is the best way to do this, because it allows you to completely immerse yourself for a significant period of time and avoid feeling like a “tourist.” Employers appreciate candidates with cross-cultural communication skills who have the ability to adapt to changing environments. Choose a French speaking country that complements your future career aspirations. Take the opportunity to live in Grenoble, nestled in the Alps, while studying French and business, or hone your French skills walking the streets of Paris.

"Studying abroad in Pau, France gave me confidence speaking French and submersing myself with locals. Living with my host family gave me an intimate look into French life, values and culture which would not have been possible if I had never studied abroad. I encourage everyone to take that leap."
