Are you interested in studying abroad on the GVSU Soccer in the United Kingdom program? Join us for this upcoming info session!
London, United Kingdom: From the electrifying Premier League and Women’s Super League to the vibrancy of grassroots teams, this London-based program explores the many ways that soccer shapes British culture and society while also being deeply influenced by it.
Highlights:
- Explore Iconic Stadiums: Traverse the hallowed grounds of soccer’s most revered stadiums, including Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge, Arsenal FC’s Emirates, and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, among others
- Engage with Experts: Network with sports management graduate programs, faculty, and students at local universities, including Cambridge and St. Mary’s
- Experience the Action: Attend live professional, semi-professional, and amateur soccer matches
- Enjoy Exclusive Access: Get “behind the scenes” tours of iconic national soccer organizations, including the Football Association (FA), Premier League, and Women’s Super League
- Conduct Field Research: Develop qualitative research skills through interviews and participant-observation with soccer players, fans, and office professionals
