Katelyn Zink, Australia
Traveling across the world to student teach in a new continent, Australia, was a dream come true! I was able to learn about the education system, along with getting to know my students and experience their culture. Even though Australia speaks English, there are still many cultural differences compared to the United States. With this in mind, I have a new respect for students and individuals who move to a different country. Other than being able to experience the culture in the classroom, I was also able to travel around and become part of the culture. Overall, I could not be more thankful for my experience abroad.
