My trip to China was truly a journey and adventure of a lifetime! I made memories and shared experiences with people that I will cherish for the rest of my life. As I stood on the Great Wall, I vividly remember brushing my fingers across the Ming Dynasty brick to see how it felt. I still to this day will never forget the complete euphoric feeling I had on the wall as I was captivated physically, mentally and emotionally. I then began to gaze upon the vast wall as it continued on for miles and thought about how I made history as a person in my family who has traveled across the world. I never would have imagined that an African American male, such as myself, would be able to journey and see such beauty the world has to offer. I hope that I’m able to influence younger generations in my family to do the same. Lastly, this adventures me realize that I have no limitations to experiencing and doing anything in this world; the possibilities are truly endless.
