Molly Alger, Scotland
Studying abroad was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only did I make so many amazing lifelong friends, but I also got to step outside my comfort zone and try new things. I spent my Winter semester in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. I did a lot of traveling both within Scotland and the rest of Europe. I was able to take computing classes and an honors course that count toward my major and Gen Eds.
Having the opportunity to study abroad is something I will be forever thankful for. I was able to look at so many different things from a new perspective, just by talking to people outside of my own country. The lessons I learned outside and inside of the classroom will aide me in both my schoolwork and my future career.
