About the Symposium

The symposium is part of Fiesta 2024 and the theme of the event is Where Latino/a’s Live. Learn. Earn. The speakers and panelists to be selected are going to have experience in West Michigan (Holland area) and different areas in education, business, and living in the community.

The symposium will begin with welcoming remarks, followed by guest speakers (keynote style) selected from the West Michigan Community, a panel with 5-6 community members that include the selected speakers, and will end with a "call to action” session with closing remarks.

At around 7 p.m., guests will be invited either to head over to Mezcla in downtown Holland. There will be food trucks outside the Civic Center if you prefer.
