TI Activity Published in JCE

Sheila Ryan and Debbie Herrington recently had an article based on Sheila's TI activity "Sticky Ions" accepted for publication in the Journal of Chemical Education. This activity has students manipulate magnetic models of ionic compounds, including polyatomic ions, to determine how ionic compounds interact with water and gain an understanding of how ionic compounds dissociate when they dissolve in water.
