Employee Accommodations
If you are a GVSU employee seeking accommodations for a temporary or permanent disability that will aid you in performing an essential job function, please log in to your Workday account and use the Requests app to complete the confidential accommodation request form. A job aid is available that will walk you through the request process. Employees who require temporary 30-day access to ADA parking spaces should email [email protected] instead of completing the Workday form.
Documentation of the qualifying disability should be from the medical practitioner who diagnosed the disability or who is providing care related to the disability. Every effort will be made to keep all communications confidential in reviewing requests for accommodations. The Accessibility Resources team will engage in a dialogue with the employee to answer any questions about the process or the specific accommodation requested.
