Grand Valley State University invites applications, nominations, and expressions of interest for the position of Vice Provost for Research and Innovation and Executive Director, Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence.

This leadership role oversees the University’s research enterprise, fostering and advancing the research, scholarship, and creative activities of faculty, staff, and students. The Vice Provost will oversee comprehensive research activities, including external and internal funding, research compliance and integrity, and technology commercialization.

The Vice Provost will embrace the transformative power of applied and translational research, creative inquiry, and innovation in shaping the lives of Grand Valley’s students, faculty, and the broader region. This leader will build on the University’s strong current research agenda while cultivating an innovative climate to explore emerging areas of excellence. They will intellectually invigorate the University, encouraging faculty and students to engage in a dynamic teaching-research ecosystem that propels Grand Valley forward.
