This session will focus on the evidence-based practice (EBP)of using academic engagement and instructional supports to create inclusive environments and instruction that meets the needs of individuals with autism and other diverse learning needs. Participants will begin/continue exploring the use of the Classroom Environment and Teaching Assessment (CETA) as a tool assess strengths and needs related to current implementation of academic engagement and instructional supports. Participants will self-assess their environments before and after seeing examples, using planning tools and interactive discussions and choose one specific area to begin improving.
