1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
I started working as an application developer at smaller companies, starting my first job the Tuesday after commencement. Life led me and my wife, Brittney (BBA '12), to Connecticut and we stayed there for 6 years. During that time I found my dream job at the National Football League, writing software for the Game Statistics systems and now working on next generation video streaming technology.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
I used to love walking/jogging around Allendale campus, in any weather, between classes. I love the outdoors, and there was a lot of natural beauty on campus.

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
There are a few nuggets I've gotten over the years, but my favorite is that preparation and research are extremely important to stakeholders of any project. I had a boss that told me once, "never say it 'should' work, you should be able to say it will or it won't"

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Supportive, enabling, fun

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I have always had a passion for football and I want to be able to share that with future generations. Some of the projects I have worked on helped to make the game safer and that feels good.
