1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
Since graduation, I worked at four different organizations in progressive HR roles. I've had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many people and grow as an HR professional, where I can leverage my passion for career development (discovered in the Career Center at GVSU).I've started a side hustle or two, gotten my master's degree and a few certifications, traveled, and most importantly, married the most wonderful human I know.

2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
My favorite GVSU memory is meeting one of my good friends, Claire. We attended a "camp" called Scholars Institute through the Honors College, which started a week before our freshman year kicked off. We were put onto teams where we'd complete a project and at the last minute, I switched teams and joined Claire. We hit it off right away and spent long nights in study rooms together through Freshman year. We ended up living together for the rest of college and she's one of my closest friends today!

3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
The best piece of advice I've received was from a leader I had, Michael Foss, during a summer internship at Amway. He told me that if I can learn to "shine the light in the fog" or thrive in ambiguity, I could achieve anything I set my mind to. It's been 8 years since then and so far, so good :)

4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand Valley experience.
Cozy, eye opening, happy

5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to help people have fulfilling careers, connecting their passions and purpose to their professional lives.
