GEO 445 - Introduction to Geochemistry
Topics include crystal chemistry (nuclear/solid-state chemistry), water geochemistry (kinetics) and mineral stability (thermodynamics). Lectures and laboratory. (3-0-2) Offered fall semester of even-numbered years. Prerequisites: GEO 112; MTH 122 and CHM 116 (may be taken concurrently); MTH 201 strongly recommended.
