RIT 334 - Simulations in Radiation Therapy

Students will encounter and simulate common situations and issues that arise in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients. Topics include: patient needs in the therapy process, patient communication, family interactions, patient interactions and professional behavior, and appropriate use of treatment devices with simulated patient situations. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the radiation therapy major or to the predosimetry emphasis program.
