SLP 304 - Phonetics

Nature of spoken language explored with respect to phonology, articulatory and clinical phonetics, and transcription using the International Phonetic Alphabet and diacritic markers. Includes information on phonological development and disorders, phonological awareness, and dialect. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the SLP emphasis.
