SOC 401 - Contemporary Sociological Theory

A critical survey of social theorists who extended and sometimes challenged the sociological perspective. Emphasizes the development and application of theory in relationship to contemporary issues. Covers theorists from after World War II to the present. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Six hours in sociology.
