Teacher Leader Concentration
Students wishing to pursue the teacher leader concentration must be admitted and hold good standing in a master's degree program in the College of Education. Interested students must have approval of their College of Education educational leadership faculty advisor and have a planned program on file before beginning the program. The teacher leadership concentration is a cohort model and it is recommended that all students participating in this program enroll in the cohort program. The length of the program is 18 months including the three academic courses and the professional development component.
Requirements for a Teacher Leader Concentration:
A Teacher Leader Concentration is available to students who complete the following:
- Complete the school district or intermediate school district professional development requirement
- EDL 665 - Educational Leadership Credits: 3
- EDL 666 - Curriculum Leadership Credits: 3
- EDL 677 - School and Community Relationships Credits: 3
