NUR 447 - Community Health and Mental Health Clinical

Students care for individuals and aggregates in various settings, emphasizing collaboration with interprofessional health care teams, and using nursing processes that incorporate social determinants of health to assess, implementing nursing interventions, and promoting effective patient outcomes. Importance is placed on mental health/illness concerns and refining skills in communication. Offered winter and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisites: NUR 332, NUR 333, NUR 335, and either NUR 336 or NUR 338. Corequisites: NUR 445 and NUR 446.
