HST 323 - Michigan History

Course examines groups and individuals as active agents in the shaping of Michigan from pre-contact to the present. These interactions and conflicts include the Anishinaabeg - Three Fires Confederacy encountering European and American settler-colonizers, environmental impacts, urbanization and industrialization, and the experiences of racial and ethnic groups in Michigan.
