PT 661 - Exam and Intervention for Rehabilitation

This course addresses the long-term management of the rehabilitation patients. The emphasis of the course is on the access of the physically- challenged individual to all aspects of life. Areas discussed include: PT-specific considerations of adaptive equipment, recreation, wheelchairs, architectural barriers, orthotics and prosthetics, and technology for patients. Offered spring/summer semester. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the D.P.T. curricular sequence.
