GPY 327 - Place, Race and Ethnicity

Addresses place in the geographical context as relates to race/ethnicity in the U.S. Topics include geographies of race, ethnicity, class, and Latinx, black, Asian, and indigenous communities. Spatial patterns of segregation, wealth, health, and food/water security will be explored. Appropriate for geography majors/minors and as a general education course elective. Offered winter semester. Part of the Cultures- U.S. Diversity. Fulfills Issues - Human Rights. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
