SOC 382 - Study Abroad in Sociology

Of varying focus, this sociology course broadly considers the culture, institutions, social stability, and social change in the host country, with emphasis on class, status, power, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and/or other sociological variables as student-mentor interest determines. To be taught as part of an approved study abroad program. Prerequisites: All GVSU director-based study abroad programs are by permit only. All director-based study abroad programs have been carefully vetted and pre-approved by GVSU.
