Beverly Harkema, MNPL '07, publishes her article in Public Integrity

Beverly Harkema, '07, recently published her article, "Autonomy in Philanthropy: A Model for Nonprofit Organizations," in the journal, Public Integrity. She received her Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership within the School of Public, Nonprofit, Health, Hospitality and Tourism Management.
This paper examines autonomy historically and theoretically, to robustly define autonomy to include aspects of consequences, duty, character, responsibility, and capacity, all of which inherently influence and are influenced by philanthropy.
