GRPS principal shares journey as first-generation student at TRIO celebration

Julian Ramirez-Torres, principal at Grand Rapids Public School's Southwest Middle High School - Academia Bilingüe, shares his story with high school students during a National TRIO Day celebration. Students were on GVSU's Allendale Campus for a daylong program that included a tour, lunch and presentations from various campus departments.
Ramirez-Torres received his master's degree in educational leadership from GVSU in 2021.
