CLAS Van Pool

Learning Takes a Road Trip

In order to provide barrier-free learning opportunities outside of the classroom, the college is piloting a van pool during the 24-25 academic year. Available to CLAS faculty on a first-come, first-served basis and is a free service. Each van can transport up to fifteen of students and can be used for day trips as well as extended travel.  To get started, faculty need to fill out the registered driver form and take the van orientation course.

Become a Registered Driver

To use the vanpool, a faculty member must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Please fill out the form to register to drive a vanpool vehicle. (Please note that if you are not on the GVSU network you will have to use VPN to access this form)

Van Orientation Training

All registered drivers must complete a van orientation class. If you have registered as a driver, you will have access to the training through BlackBoard.  Here is the link to the Bb training.
