Giving - GVSU Club Sports

Club Sports offer an exciting athletic alternative that bridges the gap between intramural play and varsity sports. There are currently over 50 club sports organizations at GVSU that range from recreational to highly competitive.

These programs are funded primarily by participant dues. Your contribution to a club sport of your choice will make a difference in students' ability to compete at the highest levels by offsetting out-of-pocket costs to participate.

100% of your donation will go directly to the club sport of your choice. If you’re interested in giving to specific club sport program, search for the program of your choice on the Find Funds page.

Donor Advised/Directed Funds

Give from Your Donor Advised and Directed Funds

A donor advised (DAF) or directed fund (DDF) is a type of giving program that allows you to combine favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to easily support your favorite charities.

Donor Advised Funds (DAF)

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) are funds gifted to the university or other institutions at the direction and time frame of the donor. An outside DAF provider is selected by the donor.

Donor Directed Funds (DDF)

Donor Directed Funds (DDF) are bundled funds which are gifted to the university directly from the donor, and directed to specific funds at the university at the direction and time frame designated by the donor. Learn more.
