Fall 2024 Summarized Plan:
The Laker Dance Team has a busy and exciting fall semester. In this season, you can find the Laker Dance Team performing at all home football games as well as men's and women's basketball games. When the Laker Dance Team is not practicing or performing, they participate in fundraisers such as an annual golf outing and can drives and volunteer with charities such as Kids' Food Basket and Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The dance team attends the DTU College Classic national competition in Orlando, Florida, where they compete against schools from all over the country and perform in both Jazz and Hip Hop.

In 2024, the Laker Dance Team attended the Dance Team Union College Classic. Above is an image after the team took 1st place overall in both Jazz & Hip Hop. Additionally, this was the dance team's first time competing in the Super Spirit Showdown category, where they competed alongside the GVSU Cheer team and took home 1st overall as well. It was such an incredible win to bring home to GVSU club sports!
