SKILLS EMPLOYERS WANT
The B.S. in Artificial Intelligence at GVSU will develop the skills you need to land the job you want. Whether the skills are advanced or general, you will build a resume of qualifications that are sure to attract employers. This program stands out by incorporating both of "white-box" and "black-box" learning pathways.
The "white-box" track provides technical students with a deep understanding of AI models, algorithms, and system design, while the "black-box" track is designed for non-computing students, offering a conceptual, application-driven view of AI systems. This degree emphasizes experiential learning through industry-driven projects, internships, and hands-on lab experiences, ensuring graduates possess the applied skills necessary to meet industry demands.
REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE
Hands-on learning and other fieldwork not only deepen your mastery of your discipline but also give you the edge employers seek. Visit our experience matters page to see the work GVSU students are doing in their co-ops and internships.
