What do you love most about the GVSU College of Computing?
The GVSU College of Computing is hands-on, with small classes for my Graduate School, supportive and approachable faculty, and a focus on practical skills that prepare students well for tech careers.

What was your favorite project, research, or opportunity you’ve worked on during your studies?
In my Information Visualization class, I worked on a data visualization project about Road Carnage in Chicago. I got to work using technologies I have not used before like Superset.

What is a problem you would like to solve using tech, even if it feels impossible now?
I'd love to use tech for early disease detection in underserved areas, like an AI-powered wearable that analyzes vitals to provide instant feedback and connect users to remote doctors.

What is an unexpected skill or lesson you have learned in your studies here at GV?
I've learnt at GV the crucial role of human and interpersonal skills. I've had to re-evaluate and refine how I express myself, becoming more comfortable and confident in conversations and connecting with others.

What are your future plans?
I would like to grow further in the Data field becoming a Staff Data Engineer/Software Engineer where I get to have more impact on projects with the teams I will be involved in.
