Bruna is originally from East Lansing, MI, where she grew up with immigrant parents from India and Africa. She is the oldest of three with twin brothers and a sister. Growing up she loved fashion, reading, and writing. She graduated from GVSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a minor in Advertising & Public Relations. Throughout college she was active in extracurriculars, serving as President of Book Club and Editor in Chief of Fishladder, the GVSU Writing Department’s Student Journal of Art & Writing. She has professional experience in marketing and editing/publishing and enjoys using writing and creativity in her work. In her free time, she likes to go antiquing, hang out with friends, try new brunch spots, and read short stories.
