Ms. Ngassa is  originally from East Lansing, MI, where I grew up with my parents who are both immigrants from India and Africa. She is the oldest of three with twin brothers and a sister. Growing up she loved fashion, reading, and writing. Ngassa graduated from GVSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a minor in Advertising & Public Relations. Throughout college she was active in extracurriculars, serving as President of Book Club and Editor in Chief of Fishladder, the GVSU Writing Department’s Student Journal of Art & Writing. She has professional experience in marketing and editing/publishing and I enjoy using writing and creativity in my work. In her free time she likes to go antiquing, hang out with friends, try new brunch spots, and read short stories.
